Our advisory services cover enterprise risk management, operational resiliency and sustainability & climate risk.
Our Principal Advisor Ben Townend has nearly 20 years’ experience in Risk Management. Ben’s background spans both financial and non-financial domains in highly regulated environments. He has significant executive risk leadership and a proven track record supporting the delivery of critical risk transformational programs.
Ben is currently serving as Independent External Member of the Audit & Risk Committee for the City of Busselton.
Ben is a Certified Practising Risk Manager (MRMIA CPRM®), through the Risk Management Institute of Australia (RMIA) and is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia (FGIA).
Ben holds certifications in adjacent risk specialisations, including Sustainability & Climate Risk, Work, Health & Safety, Business Continuity Management, Privacy and is a certified Integrated Management Systems Auditor.
Townend Risk Consulting also employs casual staff and leverages pre-qualified sub-contractors when required.
